How do I order a cake?
Just send me an email or give me a call and we can discuss what you require. If emailing, please include the following:

  • The date the cake is required
  • How many people you need it to serve
  • Your flavour preferences
  • The theme of the party, or colours that you are using
  • Your invitations, pictures of cakes that you like, or any other details or ideas.

How far in advance should I order a cake?
Some customers (and brides) order their cakes a couple of months befores the event. Usually months of lead time isn’t necessary, but there are weeks where I am booked up. To avoid disappointment, order your cake as soon as possible!

How much do your cakes cost?
Because each cake is custom made, I don’t have a price list; price is based on the time required to make the cake and the intricacy of the design. Having said that, fondant cakes start at $5/serving, and a minimum $125 on all orders.

How do I cut my tiered cake?
Cakes that are over 6″ in diameter should be cut to maximize number of servings while keeping piece size reasonable. To do this, a ring is cut 2″ from the outside edge, and then slices are cut from this 2″ ring. See this link for a diagram.

Does my cake have to go in the fridge?
No, generally I make my cakes so they do not have to be refrigerated – any edible images on the cake should not go in the fridge. Cakes are also best served at room temperature.
